The Monthly  is published on a monthly basis by Information International, a leading Beirut-based research and consultancy firm. The publication is available in both Arabic and English languages, and examines economic, cultural and social issues in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq and other Arab countries. It also publishes opinion polls and surveys and conducts interviews with prominent Arab and foreign figures in Lebanon, including ministers and members of parliament.

The Monthly: A Must-Have for Your Library

Hundreds of publications examining economic, political, cultural and social issues are published regularly in Lebanon and the Arab World; however very few, if any, give reliable numbers; and even fewer publications analyze these issues relying on statistics and accurate figures. In 2001, The Monthly was launched to fill this vacuum and bridge the gap between perceptions and facts.  It has grown to become a reference for researchers and analysts alike concerned with this region.
In 2004, The Monthly was granted the UNESCO prize for “Information Serving Human Rights”.
The publisher, Information International, considers The Monthly a “necessity,” as well as a continuous challenge in a region where statistics are usually “a matter of opinion”.
