Antoine E Boutros is the Editor-in-Chief of  Al Computer, Communications & Electronics magazine, since its issuance in 1983. The publication is published by Dar Assayad Publishing House. He is also the director of research and director of special projects in Dar Assayad.

For the past forty years, Antoine Boutros has founded and contributed in the foundation of several research centers, and in the launching of the first specialized magazines in the Arab World. He was the first to write about computer science in Arabic. He frequently appears on TV to highlight scientific events and has participated in numerous international conferences and conventions. He has worked as a consultant for the ESCWA (United Nations/ Economic & Social Commission for West Asia) and the UNDP (United Nations Development Program). Antoine Boutros is considered one of the motivators of the cultural renewal in Lebanon in the sixties. He is the author and co-author of around 20 books and dictionaries and the author of around 400 articles on science, culture, history & international affairs.

Antoine Boutros shared the 1991 Award of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS ) for Best Science Book in Arabic.
