Euros 6 millions
is the cost of a large-scale study to be conducted by the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs in association with the World Bank to examine poverty in Lebanon, knowing that the Lebanese government had, in the past, conducted dozens of similar studies tackling poverty and means to fight it.

patients were admitted to the Rafik Hariri University Hospital in Beirut during 2008. The Health Ministry is paying for the hospitalization of 11,000 patients. Bills paid by the ministry amount to LBP36 billions.
